The Common Wheels car club, who have cars available at Kennet Island and Cemetery Junction, are holding a social here on Monday 15 Dec, come and meet other members and talk to Adam who is the Reading Co-ordinator. Sandwiches will be provided

The Great Retreat Mince Pie Competition

If you reckon you have the potential to bake a prizewinner, and/or think you know your minced pies, come to compete and judge on Tuesday 16^th December. If you are going to enter, please bring six minced pies (NOT Mr Kipling's!) by 8 pm. If judging, bring your taste-buds and a pound for the Royal Berks Children's Fund. The Choir as Folk will perform seasonal music and mulled cider will be on sale, also in aid of the Children's Fund
